Job description

Our client deals in high quality Bulk LPG gas which is ideal for industrial and commercial consumers spanning from plastic manufacturing, steel shaping, glass making, hospitals, hotels, aerosols manufacturing. Our client has the capacity to fulfil the LPG gas requirements.

Our client is looking for a Programmer with a Keen eye for design in the position of Front End/UX Developer.

The front end developer will responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

You will be required to work alongside Back End Developers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing software requirements and developing use cases
  • Determining the structure and design of web pages.
  • Ensuring user experience and determines design choices.
  • Developing features to enhance the user experience
  • Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  • Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
  • Ensuring web design is optimized for different browsers and bandwidth
  • Building reusable code for future use.
  • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.
  • Test and deploy the application to a staging environment

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Understanding of key design principles.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in RestFUL and RPC apis
  • Understanding of server-side CSS.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with graphic design applications
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Familiar with Agile frameworks
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools is an added advantage
  • Wire framing experienced is an added advantage
